April 10

  • At 8:05 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 312 near Winnsboro.
  • At 9 a.m., horses were reported out on Highway 154 near Quitman.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on County Road 3865 near Hawkins; at approximately 9:02 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1560 near Alba, at approximately 9:11 a.m., in reference to harassment. Prior to the deputies’ arrival, the actor left the scene.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1540 near Alba, at approximately 10:02 a.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:28 a.m., in reference to a burglary on Pine Glen near Hawkins. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items fro the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1862 near Yantis, at approximately 11:14 a.m., in reference to theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s boat. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 37 near Quitman, at approximately 12:05 p.m., in reference to an assault that occurred. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • At 12:13 p.m., cows were reported out on County Road 1917 near Yantis.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2800 near Mineola, at approximately 2:06 p.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, damaged the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 near Quitman, at approximately 2:09 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 2:14 p.m., in reference to harassment on County Road 1858 near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 3:45 p.m., in reference to a possible assault on Private Road 7687 near Hawkins. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4854 near Winnsboro, at approximately 4:11 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3153 near Quitman, at approximately 4:54 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Misty Glen near Hawkins, at approximately 7:15 p.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s vehicle.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2951 near Alba, at approximately 7:29 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies located the individuals and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1416 near Quitman, at approximately 9:10 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 10:21 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2112 near Quitman, at approximately 10:24 p.m., in reference to harassment. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

April 11

  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 1:16 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies located the open door, but there were no signs of theft. The building was cleared and secured.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 69 near Alba, at approximately 6:41 a.m., in reference to theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole a trailer from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 8:14 a.m., in reference to a burglary on Highway 11 near Leesburg. Actors, or actors unknown, were in the reporting party’s building without authorization.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 312 near Winnsboro, at approximately 8:45 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1570 near Alba, at approximately 11:22 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • At 11:28 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 778 near Hawkins.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 11:51 a.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on FM 778 near Mineola. Actors, or actors unknown, used the reporting party’s personal information without authorization. This case is active.
  • At 12:05 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Quitman.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 8692 near Winnsboro, at approximately 1:01 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • At 1:51 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 778 near Quitman.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 7536 near Hawkins, at approximately 2:28 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • At 4 p.m., cows were reported out on County Road 1612 near Alba.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Pagosa Lane near Hawkins, at approximately 4:36 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • At 5:21 p.m., cows were reported out on County Road 2201 near Mineola.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1580 near Alba, at approximately 7:20 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Red Bud Lane near Quitman; at approximately 7:29 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Main St. in Quitman; at approximately 7:58 p.m. Johnny Wilson, 53, of Tyler was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 2170 near Quitman; at approximately 8:41 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2951 near Alba, at approximately 9:20 p.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, damaged the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2166 near Quitman, at approximately 9:42 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1961 near Yantis, at approximately 10:22 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

April 12

  • At 1:24 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Quitman.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 69 near Mineola, at approximately 6:33 a.m., in reference to alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4730 near Winnsboro, at approximately 9:06 a.m., in reference to criminal mischief. A known actor damaged the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 17 near Alba, at approximately 11:10 a.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies determined this was a civil issue and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious person on County Road 2206 near Mineola at approximately 1:06 p.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 80 near Hawkins, at approximately 1:50 p.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, damaged the reporting party’s property.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 2169 near Quitman; at approximately 2:07 p.m. Brandon Keen, 33, of Quitman was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 5980 near Yantis, at approximately 2:21 p.m., in reference to terroristic threat. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and they were separated.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 49 near Hawkins, at approximately 3:12 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Dogwood Trail near Hawkins, at approximately 4:40 p.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Main St. in Yantis at approximately 4:43 p.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4400 near Winnsboro, at approximately 6:01 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Quail Run near Hawkins, at approximately 7:09 p.m., in reference to theft. A known actor stole several items from the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • At 11:45 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2422 near Mineola.

April 13

  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 37 near Mineola at approximately 2:32 a.m. Tomyra McClelland, 27, of Terrell was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 17 near Alba, at approximately 2:47 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies located the individuals and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Mockingbird Street in Alba, at approximately 4:07 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies instructed the individuals on firearm safety and cleared the incident.
  • At 6:01 p.m., horses were reported out on FM 1643 near Mineola.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 6290 near Alba, at approximately 7:02 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Kiowa near Quitman, at approximately 7:34 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • At 8:25 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 779 near Alba.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2121 near Quitman, at approximately 9:41 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins, at approximately 10:30 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies advised the reporting party that extra patrol would be provided.

April 14

  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1995 near Yantis, at approximately 4:34 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 2650 near Mineola; at approximately 8:33 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • At 9:40 a.m., cows were reported out on County Road 4250 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Pacific St. in Mineola; at approximately 12:17 p.m. Candy Rhodes, 43, of Hawkins was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 49 near Mineola, at approximately 2:41 p.m., in reference to an inquest. A male, 35, was found deceased in his residence. The justice of the peace arrived and no autopsy was ordered.
  • At 3:08 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2869 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3542 near Hawkins, at approximately 3:59 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Caden Stewart, 19, of Hawkins, was arrested for Terroristic Threat.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1513 near Alba, at approximately 4:17 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to FM 49 near Quitman; at approximately 7:10 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1421 near Quitman, at approximately 7:22 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Pennal St. in Hawkins; at approximately 7:36 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2840 near Mineola, at approximately 7:52 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2782 near Mineola, at approximately 8:25 p.m., in reference to a disturbance where an assault occurred. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Highway 80 near Mineola; at approximately 9:26 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 near Quitman, at approximately 9:44 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 near Yantis, at approximately 11:06 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Dylan Reed, 21, of Sulphur Springs, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
  • At 11:34 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 17 near Alba.

April 15

  • At 4:59 a.m., horses were reported out on FM 1643 near Winnsboro.
  • At 7:18 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Como.
  • At 9:37 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Quitman.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Highway 154 near Quitman; at approximately 9:55 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1616 near Alba, at approximately 10:39 a.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies determined this to be a civil matter and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to FM 49 near Mineola; at approximately 12:05 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to FM 14 near Quitman; at approximately 12:10 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Pine Glen near Hawkins, at approximately 12:34 p.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole the reporting party’s golf cart. The golf cart was later recovered. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • At 12:47 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 1647 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 312 near Winnsboro, at approximately 1:04 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the day.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:57 p.m., in reference to a possible theft on County Road 4280 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3846 near Hawkins, at approximately 2:46 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • At 3:34 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 49 near Mineola.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 4:07 p.m., in reference to a theft on FM 1801 near Mineola. A known actor stole several items from the reporting party’s residence. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 4:09 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver on County Road 4586 near Winnsboro. Deputies advised the reporting party that extra patrol would be provided.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 80 near Hawkins; at approximately 5:28 p.m. Holli Schattel, 23, of Hawkins, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Golf Dr. near Hawkins, at approximately 7:41 p.m., in reference to an assault that occurred. Clyde Johnson, 58, of Hawkins, was arrested for assault.
  • At 11:01 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 1647 near Winnsboro.

April 16

  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 2117 near Quitman; at approximately 1:58 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Francis St. in Hawkins, at approximately 5:39 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Quail Run near Hawkins, at approximately 2:01 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 37 near Quitman, at approximately 7:47 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 2170 near Quitman; at approximately 8:41 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3277 near Quitman, at approximately 9:07 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

  • Between the dates of April 10 and April 16, Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple agency assists that included the following: Mineola Police Department, Child Protective Services and Emergency Medical Services.
