T he Wildcats, Wildcats JV and the Lady Cats’ track teams all came out on top at the Sulphur Springs Track Meet held on a chilly Thursday evening (February 28).
Lady Cats first place winners included Sydney Washburn in the 3200-meters and 1600-meters, Aliyah Abron in the long jump and the 400-meter race, Abbi Beggs in the discus, Abbi Baier in the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles and SaDavia Porter in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
Wildcats first place winners included Damiyon Dugan in the long jump, Landon Thornton in the 3200-meter run, Landry Tyson in the high jump, the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles, Nabian Ramirez in the 800-meter run, Christian Palomino in the 1600-meter run and the Wildcats 4 X 400-meter relay team.
Also attending the meet were Brownsboro, Commerce, Lindale, Mount Pleasant and Paris.
