The Lady Cats’ soccer team opened the regular season with a tie and a loss on Friday (January 4) in a Terrell tournament.
The Lady Cats fought to a 0-0 tie with Mesquite Poteet Friday afternoon. Lady Cats Coach Joel Bailey said it was a good result for the Lady Cats.
Friday evening the Lady Cats ran into a buzz saw in the form of Red Oak. Red Oak took a 7-0 win. Coach Bailey said Red Oak is a very good team.
The Lady Cats, now 0-1-1, will play the Highland Park JV team Saturday at noon.
