Both the Wildcats and Lady Cats’ soccer teams are involved in their first scrimmage action of the season Friday (December 28).
The Wildcats, under first year head coach Alexi Upton, will have their annual Alumni Scrimmage at Gerald Prim Stadium. Scrimmages against past players are planned or 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday. A JV scrimmage will also be taking place Friday at the Track Complex soccer field. The Wildcats will also be scrimmaging Saturday against Kilgore, Forney and Pine Tree at Gerald Prim Stadium.
Meanwhile the Lady Cats’ soccer team, coached by second year head coach Joel Bailey, are having scrimmages at Pleasant Grove. A JV scrimmage is planned for 11 a.m. with a varsity scrimmage set to start at 12:30 p.m. Saturday the Lady Cats scrimmage at Hallsville, again at 11 a.m. for the JV team and at 12:30 p.m. for the varsity.
