Graveside service for Martha Laverne Preston Collins, age 98, of Olive Branch, MS will beheld at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Miller Grove Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Collins passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Martha Laverne was born on February 15, 1920 in Miller Grove to Robert and Maude Preston. She married Virgil Collins in August 1941. Martha was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, B.L. “Red” Collins and wife, Anita of Olive Branch, MS; grandchildren, Jessica Collins, Sara Collins (Taylor), Sean Collins, Bridgett Tillman (Wayne); three great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband; son, Gerry Collins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
