Lions Club Christmas Parade Winners, Mayor’s Choice Awards Announced

The Lions Club meets Tuesdays at noon at Pizza inn

Sulphur Springs opened the 2018 holiday season with a number of activities… the Downtown Business Alliance Tree Lighting Ceremony,  a Christmas Tree Decorating Contest sponsored by EMS, and the annual Lions Club Lighted Christmas Parade, all on Monday December 10, 2018. Floats and other entries entered the “Best Of” competitions in the parade, and we learned the names of the winners during the next regular Lions Club meeting on December 18.

In the Non-Profit category:

3rd place: Davis Street Baptist Church

2nd place: Trinity Harvest Church

1st place: Hopkins County Dairy Festival

In the Small Business Award:

3rd place: ATA Martial Arts

2nd place: Renta Center

1st place: Don Lalo’s Restaurant

In the Large Business Award:

Carriage House Manor

Mayor’s Choice Award:
