The John Chester Dutch Oven Cook-off was a part of Indian Summer Day held at Heritage Park in Sulphur Springs, Texas on Saturday October 6, 2018. A number of Dutch Oven cooking teams entered the competition, and the generous-size meals they prepared fed the hungry crowds at lunchtime. According to cook-off organizer Rick Wilson, here are the judge’s picks among the cooking teams:

Best Dessert: Team Diane Flagtved and Sharon Richmond
Best in Oven: Team Brandon and Braylea Brewer
