Kevin Karella launches first book Thursday.  The launch  party is at the home of Hopkins County residents  Jim and Ellen Rich of Emblem.

A launch party for Kevin Karella first book, Olivia’s Hope, is Thursday at the home of Jim and Ellen Rich of Emblem. Karella will also be available at the Hopkins County Fall Festival Arts and Crafts Exhibit this weekend to sign the newly release book.

The date for the release of the book on October 25th is also in honor of Karella’s son Jason, a marine, who was killed in action in Afghanistan just days before his 21st birthday.

Olivia’s Hope is the story of two strangers bound by a business deal who soon discover their fates and futures are one. The story provides an outpouring of raw fear, tragic loss, and excitement.

The launch party will feature a live feed on the Olivia’s Hope Facebook page from 8 until 9 p.m.

Karella and Rich met while stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Both men were Army Medevac helicopter pilots. Karella, an Alaska native, currently flies for Mesa Airlines.
