The Stew Contest is almost here!!  The Chamber had a successful meeting Tuesday night with our soon to be stew cooks who were able to pick up their goody bags and grocery reimbursement checks. If you are already signed up to cook stew but missed the meeting, please come by the Chamber to pick up your awesome goody bag.

The 49th Annual Hopkins County Stew Contest will be held at Buford Park on Saturday, October 27th.  Stew service will begin at 10:45 a.m., and quart sales begin at 11:30 a.m. Stew tickets are already on sale at all local banks and at the Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets are All-You-Can-Eat Stew for $6.00 each. T-shirts will also be available for $10 each.      

The 11th Annual Help-A-Child Tractor Pull and Cook-off will be held Saturday, October 20th at 9 a.m.

Help-A-Child will host their 11th Annual Tractor Pull with a Chili and Brisket Cook-off on Saturday, October 20th beginning at 9 a.m. at the Hopkins County Civic Center.  The Help-A-Child benefit is conducted by the Sulphur Bluff Masonic Lodge #246, the Sulphur Springs Masonic Lodge #221, the Hopkins Masonic Lodge #180, and the Delta Masonic Lodge #1240.

SS Main Street Uncorked holds a cause worth toasting on Saturday, October 20th

SS Main Street Uncorked is hosting a wine tasting event on Saturday, October 20th in downtown Sulphur Springs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $20 for 10 tastings. 

Reilly Springs Jamboree hosts Anniversary Show

The Reilly Springs Jamboree begins its 63rd on October 20th at 6 p.m. Jacoby Smith and Moonlight Twang will open at 6 p.m., with Roger Reed and band backing Hannah Kirby, Zac Clifton, Alina Tatum, Don Woods, Shanna Carter, Molly ‘n Dakota and many more guests. Admission is $10 admission and is located at the Reilly Springs Community Center, 109 CR 1439 in Sulphur Springs.

Fall Festival will host its ribbon cutting celebration

Hunt Regional is offering October Mobile Mammography Coach in Sulphur Springs

Hunt Regional Hospital is offering the Tubby Adkisson Memorial Mobile Mammography Coach on October 26th at the Fall Festival in Sulphur Springs. All insurances accepted at Hunt Regional are also accepted for the Mobile Mammography Coach, including Medicare and Medicaid.  To schedule individual screening mammograms, please call (903) 408-5010. EDC and ATCOG announce the 3rd Annual Northeast Texas Rural Transportation Summit

The Sulphur Springs Hopkins County EDC and the Ark-Tex Council of Governments announce the 3rd Annual Northeast Texas Rural Transportation Summit on Thursday, November 1st at the Hopkins County Civic Center located at 1200 Houston Street in Sulphur Springs.  Keynote Speaker is Texas Comptroller TxDOT Chief Engineer Bill Hale. Veterans Day Parade scheduled for November 10th

A Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 10th in Sulphur Springs to honor those who have served us. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the parade will begin at Buford Park and go through the downtown square and back to the park. Please call Jason at either (903) 634-5673 or (972) 750-1966.
