Significant Weather Advisory Wednesday Night Until 11:15 p.m.

Significant weather advisory for Western Hopkins County and Northeastern Rains County until 11:15 p.m. Wednesday night has been issued by the National Weather Service. 

At 10:28 p.m. Doppler radar was  tracking a strong thunderstorms 9 iles northeast of Emory and 13 miles south of Sulphur Springs moving northeast at 20 miles per hour.

Winds in excess of 40 mph possible in the storm. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Sulphur Springs, Brashear, and Cumby could be affected by the storm.
