The Wildcats’ team tennis squad played another competitive non-district match on the road Tuesday (August 7) but once again came up on the short end of the scoreboard.
The Wildcats lost at Waxahachie, 8-6. Wildcats winners in singles included Chase Crouch, Brandon Dittrich, Jordan Gonzales, Jeaux Leigh Cantu and Heather Harris.
The girls doubles team of Page Miessen and Emily Dick also won their match.
The Wildcats are 0-3 for the season. Included are a one point loss and this two point loss. The other match was a five point loss.
The Wildcats have their home opener scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. against Spring Hill, weather permitting.
