David Trollinger

Funeral service for David Trollinger, age 75, of Yantis, TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Central Baptist Church on Saturday, August 18, 2018, with Rev. Bruce Stinson officiating and Rev. Fred Randles assisting.  Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel with Pine McQuay, Victor Lopez, Carmelo Lopez, Kyle Wittmer, Matt McDaniel, Kaden Trollinger serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Mr. Trollinger passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas, TX.

John David Trollinger was born on November 4, 1942, in Terrell, TX, the son of Leonard and Jane Trollinger.  David received his Bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University.  He married Beverly Moore in Dallas, TX on June 23, 1967.  David was a restaurant owner, starting in 1970.  He founded TaMolly’s in Jasper, Texas in 1984, and eventually founded TaMolly’s in Sulphur Springs, now known as Juan Pablos.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Ali Trollinger of Sulphur Springs, Stacy Trollinger of Wichita, KS; son, Jeff Trollinger and wife, Paige of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Ashley Wittmer, Kylie Wittmer, Katie Wittmer, Kyle Wittmer, Abby Wittmer, Matt McDaniel, Maddy McDaniel, Karis Trollinger, Kaden Trollinger; brothers, Danny Trollinger and Dale Trollinger.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
