Graveside service for Joseph Brown, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Al Davis officiating and Brian Braun, Jason Huckabee, Micah Huckabee, Braden Bright, Colton Bright, Lucas Brown, and Landon Brown serving as pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Brown passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his residence.
Joseph Brown was born November 18, 1933, the son of Lester Brown and Bessie Mae (Maxie) Brown in Lone Wolfe, OK. He married Barbara Richardson on February 25, 1977 in Colleyville, TX; she survives. Mr. Brown was a heating/air conditioning/refrigeration technician and a member of Grace Family Church.
Survivors include: wife, Barbara Brown of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Denise Braun and husband, Ed, of Saginaw and Rebecca Huckabee of Grapevine; sons, Steven Brown and wife, Sandra, of McKinney, Dean Brown of Saginaw, and Rodney Crowson and wife, Debbie, of Colleyville; grandchildren, Brian Braun, Lorie Saurez, Autumn Bright and husband, Jeff, Lucas Brown and wife, Elizabeth, Jason Huckabee, Micah Huckabee and wife, Crystal, and Shelby Crowson; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Mariah, Tra, Jude, Cruz, Roman, Aiden, Axton, Braden, Colton, Julie, Landon, Kameron, and Ashley.
He was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, James Brown and Cleo Brown; son, Lee Darnell Brown; and grandsons, Jerod Brown and Adam Huckabee.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
