Deputies were dispatched to CR 1558 near Alba, at approximately 2:43 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1695 near Alba, at approximately 7:52 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to Woodside Lane near Hawkins, at approximately 9:00 a.m., in reference to theft. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:15 a.m., in reference to identity theft that occurred on CR 1616 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1170 near Quitman; at approximately 3:18 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and it was towed by Wyatt’s.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 4:46 p.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on FM 852 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 779 near Mineola; at approximately 5:57 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 4890 near Quitman; at approximately 8:19 p.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 2088 near Winnsboro; at approximately 9:49 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

May 31st

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1170 near Quitman; at approximately 12:44 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Winnsboro St. in Quitman; at approximately 8:30 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1605 near Alba, at approximately 12:01 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 312 near Winnsboro, at approximately 12:13 p.m., in reference to an inquest. A male, 54, was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace arrived and no autopsy was ordered.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 12:51 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the day.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3269 near Mineola, at approximately 2:07 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3495 near Hawkins, at approximately 2:25 p.m., in reference to an inquest. A female, 80, was found deceased in her residence. The Justice of the Peace arrived and no autopsy was ordered.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3812 near Hawkins, at approximately 4:22 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4847 near Winnsboro, at approximately 8:27 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Prior to the deputies’ arrival, the individuals turned their music off.

At 8:27 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Alba, at approximately 8:28 p.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 8:59 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Ricky White, 49, of Quitman, was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2724 near Mineola, at approximately 9:39 p.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

June 1st

Deputies were dispatched to PR 5228 near Quitman, at approximately 1:16 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 8:23 a.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on CR 3118 near Quitman. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2465 near Mineola; at approximately 9:04 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to Cheyenne near Quitman, at approximately 10:23 a.m., in reference to harassment. Deputies issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Raton Pass near Hawkins, at approximately 10:35 a.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s property. The reporting party only wished for this to be documented.

Deputies were dispatched to Blue Moon Ranch near Hawkins, at approximately 12:41 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies issued Criminal Trespass Warnings and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 2:39 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3875 near Mineola, at approximately 2:51 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1555 near Alba, at approximately 5:40 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Kevin Standridge, 57, of Longview, was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury of Family/Household Member – Impede Breathing/Circulation.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2377 near Alba, at approximately 6:07 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 7:32 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4560 near Winnsboro, at approximately 8:03 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any individuals.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2112 near Quitman, at approximately 8:14 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2954 near Alba, at approximately 8:27 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 1804 near Mineola, at approximately 8:30 p.m., in reference to a theft. A known actor stole several items from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4275 near Winnsboro, at approximately 10:20 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:52 p.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on FM 1799 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

June 2nd

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins, at approximately 3:49 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Heriberto Gonzalez, 30, of Tyler, was arrested for No Drivers License.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Alba, at approximately 4:24 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 7:12 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 2260 near Mineola.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1689 near Alba, at approximately 2:19 p.m., in reference to a theft. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the reporting party.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2310 near Mineola, at approximately 4:37 p.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, damaged the reporting party’s mailbox.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4596 near Winnsboro, at approximately 5:14 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 6662 near Mineola, at approximately 5:22 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to Holiday Village Dr. near Quitman, at approximately 6:37 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to Lake Hawkins point, at approximately 7:00 p.m., in reference to disorderly conduct. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any individuals.

At 7:11 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1418 near Quitman, at approximately 7:40 p.m., in reference to theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole a paddle boat from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to Lake Holbrook beach, at approximately 7:58 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2749 near Mineola, at approximately 9:04 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 10:36 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 4255 near Winnsboro.

June 3rd

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2140 near Quitman, at approximately 8:17 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 8:24 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the day.

At 9:16 a.m., cows were reported out on HWY 182 near Quitman.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on HWY 37 near Winnsboro; at approximately 9:44 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 11:53 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies determined this incident to be a civil matter and it was cleared.

At 1:43 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 1813 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3540 near Hawkins, at approximately 3:24 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Carly Loughmiller, 17, of Hawkins, was arrested for Assault.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Mineola, at approximately 4:21 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 4:41 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and determined it was a civil matter.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3900 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:57 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2220 near Mineola, at approximately 8:25 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies located the individuals with the firearm and determined they were shooting in a safe direction.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Alba, at approximately 8:47 p.m., in reference to theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole money from the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

June 4th

At 6:52 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 1801 near Mineola.

At 8:34 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2966 near Quitman.

At 9:57 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Winnsboro.

At 11:44 a.m., cows were reported out on HWY 154 near Quitman.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:13 p.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on CR 1970 near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

At 1:16 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 1643 near Winnsboro.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:59 p.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle on FM 778 near Quitman. Deputies advised the reporting party extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Bermuda St. in Quitman; at approximately 3:13 p.m. Catherine Loven, 58, of Hawkins, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 1912 near Yantis; at approximately 3:33 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

At 4:14 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 2260 near Mineola.

At 5:37 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Winnsboro.

At 5:38 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 3230 near Quitman.

At 5:39 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 182 near Alba.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 2124 near Quitman; at approximately 6:54 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 4627 near Winnsboro; at approximately 7:56 a.m. Darrell King, 42, of Winnsboro, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

At 8:22 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 1254 near Mineola.

At 9:15 a.m., cows were reported out on HWY 154 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1995 near Yantis, at approximately 10:40 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2752 near Mineola, at approximately 11:22 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4165 near Quitman, at approximately 12:49 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:51 p.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on CR 3420 near Hawkins. Actors, or actors unknown, used the reporting party’s credit/debit card without authorization. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 2:36 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2225 near Quitman, at approximately 2:42 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Tyler Huff, 22, of Quitman, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 49 near Mineola; at approximately 2:49 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies were dispatched to Walnut St. in Yantis, at approximately 4:58 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on HWY 80 near Mineola; at approximately 9:35 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person HWY 80 near Mineola; at approximately 11:32 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Between the dates of May 30 and June 5, Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple agency assists that included the following: Police Departments, Child Protective Services, Emergency Medical Services and Hopkins County.

Total Jail Count – 123 inmates – 100 males and 23 females.
