Saltillo Students Place Second Overall in Area UIL Competition: Regional is Next

In UIL Academic Area competition, Saltillo students placed in Accounting, Calculator Applications, Current Issues, Number Sense, Persuasive Speaking, Ready Writing, Spelling and Vocabulary, Social Studies and Science. Saltillo students earned First Place honors for their school in Editorial Writing, Feature Writing, Headline Writing, News Writing, and in Mathematics and Chemistry, and came in Second Place overall at the meet.  Saltillo students will compete at Keller Central High School for Regional UIL Saturday, April 14th.
