Como-Pickton FFA Skills USA Teams Win Big at District 5, Advance to State!

According to FFA Advisor Chanda Neal, here is a CP Skills USA Results report from February 10, 2018

Several of our CP FFA members participated in the District 5 Skills USA Contest in Waco this weekend.

Tyler Osborne and Jesus Gonzalez built a Epoxy Resin Table and won Best of Show and the team will be advancing to State with it. They also placed first in the Construction Material ID Contest and will be competing at State.

Chloe Romero placed third in Public Speaking and advanced to State with her Belt Buckle Display Case.

Jaeden Collins and Jackie Gomez competed in the Construction Tool ID Contest and both advance to State with Jaeden receiving third place at District.

Jaeden Collins also advanced to State with her Pocket Knife Display Case.

Sydnee Neal and Jackie Gomez built a patio furniture set and will take it to State competition.

Sydnee Neal also placed first in Prepared Public Speaking and will be advancing to State to compete.
