DBA Decorating Competition: WINNERS

The Downtown Business Alliance (DBA) has announced the winners for their annual Fall Decorating competition. The DBA had 17 entries this year. Entries were judged on October 2oth.

1st place: Ramey & Sheffield Attorney Office- Judges were surprised by with the “live” scarecrows in the awesome fall setting

2nd place: Carriage House Nursing Home-This display included a large old wagon with Tons of pumpkins and fall flowers.

Honorable Mention: Hopkins County District Clerk’s Office-Their fall decorations included a water feature and other unique items.

In addition to the winners, Redneck Cafe, Gourmet Kitchen, Marlene’s Sass & Class, Secret Garden, Gay Bailey salons/Merle Norman Studio, Galyean Insurance Agency, Alliance Bank, Coffee off the Square, Jason Tully Insurance Agency, The Oaks Bed & Breakfast, Guaranty Bank & Trust, Yard by Yard, Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab, and Debra Tanton’s Day Care all participated in the contest. City National Bank has a special display, and asked that the judges visit their site, but requested that they not be included in the judging. All of the displays were outstanding and the DBA members encourage the community to drive or walk by these locations to see their beautiful fall decorations.
