Irene Marrs, age 94 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, October 9th, 2017 in Winnsboro. She was born on August 5th, 1923 in Lamesa to A.L. Barker and Ethel Barker. She was a retired Day Care Operator. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Elmo Marrs – Husband, Jerry Marrs – Son, Ben Marrs – Son as well as several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by, Sherry Sharber – Daughter of Sulphur Springs, Terry and Jane Marrs- Son and Daughter-in-Law of Oickton, Dorothy Plyler – Sister of Washington State, Grandchildren, Shelly Weiser, Carrie Beth Cooper, Brandon Marrs, Melissa Collie, Rusty Marrs, T.J. Marrs, Rebecca Marrs. Fourteen great grandchildren and Eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 2:00 pm, Rev. James Ross officiating, interment will follow at the New Pickton Cemetery in Pickton, with T.J. Marrs, D.J. Carr, Rusty Marrs, Mark Standifered, David Carr, Stephan Barclay, Brad Carr, Junior Brumley serving as pallbearers.
