Summer Reading Program Launches June 7-8 with a Castle, Dragon, Knights and Princesses!

Don’t miss the Sulphur Springs Public Library’s launch of the 2017 Summer Reading Program because this year’s program is going to be awesome! According to Librarian Hope Cain, youngsters who attend the June 7 “Storytime” at 10:30am will get to meet an actor from Medieval Times and hear stories bearing the Knights and Princesses theme. Youngsters and their families who come back on June 8 at 6pm can attend the Kick-off and Registration event featuring a petting zoo, DQ food, prize bags and a theme photo op. The next day, youngsters can start reading to complete their summer reading log. There will be Storytimes  each Tuesday morning at 10:30am and on Thursday evenings at 6pm through August 3. The reading program wraps up on August 4. The Summer Reading Program is free and open to all children ages birth through age 13. The address is 611 North Davis Street.
