KSST Annual Nice People Awards Sponsored by Walgreen’s

A sweet tradition at KSST Radio during Valentine season is the annual Nice People Awards. This long-standing program is simply a small thank-you to some of the individuals creating a fabric of good deeds and caring gestures that makes our community a special place in which to live and work. During Valentine’s week, make your nominations of nice people you know to KSST by e-mail at [email protected], by postal mail at P.O. Box 284, Sulphur Springs, Tx 75483, or by dropping off a written nomination at the studios at 717 East Shannon Road. Be sure and include your name and phone number, and be willing to deliver the candy to your nominee, if chosen. Your nomination for a deserving individual might include a family member, a caretaker for a house-bound person, a volunteer worker, a Sunday School class, a helpful neighbor, an exemplary youth, a professional person who goes above and beyond the duties of their job, or other unsung hero. ¬†Between Tuesday February 7 and Tuesday 14, a total of a dozen nominees will be honored with a box of Whitman’s chocolates, compliments of Walgreen’s in Sulphur Springs. All the nominations will be read on the air during Valentine’s week, with two nominees selected each morning at 8:15am during the KSST Morning Show with Enola Gay. Get your nominations in, then listen for each day’s winners!
