Wildcats Bounce Back With Big Win at Greenville

The Wildcats’ basketball team bounced back from a Friday loss with a big district win at Greenville, 84-54 Tuesday night. The win improved the Wildcats to 4-1 in district play. They remain in second place all alone just one game behind Mt. Pleasant. The Wildcats are now 19-5 for the season.

The Wildcats win was fueled by four players in double figures. Leading scorers were Victor Iwuakor and Keaston Willis with 18 points apiece. Michael Jefferson and Ke’Ontae Dunn scored 14 points each and Dunn had a whopping 14 assists.

The Wildcats will play Hallsville at home Friday night. The game will mark the end of the first half of district play for the Wildcats.
