Thomas Webster Boyd, Jr. also known as Thomas “Tommy” Kirkpatrick, age 61, of Longview, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Tracy Coker and Brother Mike Haun officiating. Interment will follow at Greenpond Cemetery in Como with Justin Blount, Kerry Kirkpatrick, Kent Kirkpatrick, Kerry Coker, Duncan Wood and Tony Aborcrumbie serving as pallbearers and Larry Walls, Kendal Kirkpatrick, Jerry Coker, Randy Davis and Scott Hudson as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Boyd passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. He was born on November 8, 1955 the son of Thomas Webster Boyd, Sr. and Yvonne (Coker) Spencer. He married Amelia Jacquelin Rivera on March 20, 1999 in Sulphur Springs. Tommy was of the Baptist faith and worked in the oil and gas industry.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Boyd; Stepson, Cameron Arredondo; Mother, Yvonne Spencer; Sister, Keitha Kirkpatrick Walls and husband Larry; Brothers, Kenton and Kerry Kirkpatrick.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Kelly Kirkpatrick Blount; Grandparents, TG Coker and Juanita Gammill Lloyd.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
