Work at the Regional Civic Center auditorium is moving along at a rapid pace. Don Roundtree and Charlie Wilson reported to the Sulphur Springs School Board that no leak occurred during the recent rains. This is a first for the auditorium in many years. SSISD is remodeling and upgrading the auditorium as the result of a multi-year lease between the school and county.
Electrical work is underway. A new transformer has been set. Lights are in place but are yet to be set at their address for the lighting system. New electrical lines are in place and cable is being put into place throughout the building.
West entry concrete has been poured making entry much easier for those attending activities at the auditorium.
