The Tira Community Christmas dinner was held last Saturday night and was a great success. Thanks to all who participated, prepared food and encouraged the young people to attend. Santa and two elves came by, which was very popular with the little children and the young at heart.
Floyd and Martha Payton met Martha’s brother, Von Honzell from Wylie and niece, Sara Chambers from Dripping Springs in Greenville on Tuesday. They enjoyed lunch together at the Cotton Patch.
Brenda Allen, of Yantis, and Yvonne Weir & I enjoyed the Tour of Homes in Cooper on Sundayafternoon.
Our family enjoyed the community Christmas party on Saturday evening, and then Chip & I went to our Sunday School party, at the home of B. J. & Ludonna Smithers, in Sulphur Springs. Everyone had a good time eating, visiting & exchanging ornaments.
