A memorial celebration of the life of Paul Edward Holbrook, age 71, of Yantis, will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, 2:00 pm, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory.Brock Paulk, Paul’s nephew, and Bill Whittington, Paul’s brother-in-law, will officiate the service. Paul died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in Houston, at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Hospital.
He was born March 11, 1945, in Blount County, AL, to John Wesley and Cora Bell Otwell Holbrook. He spent his working career in sales and marketing. Paul married Floris Whittington in Houston, on Nov. 19, 1988. They shared almost 27 years of their lives together. Paul was a Christian who loved his family very much.
Survivors include:
Wife: Floris Holbrook, of Yantis
Daughters: Gina Westerfield (Max) of Dallas; and Jill Landry (Tom) of Richardson
Grandchildren: Pierce and Bailey Westerfield; and Zachary and Drew Landry
Numerous other loving family and friends
Preceded in death by: parents, 1 brother, James Ronald Holbrook; and 1 sister, Katherine Holbrook
