The Wildcats’ football team rallied from behind with two long fourth quarter TD passes and then held off a Sherman rally to win 20-17 in Sherman Friday night. The Wildcats trailed the Bearcats 10-7 in the fourth quarter but then quarterback Tanner Ramirez threw two long TD passes to receiver Ryan Humphries giving the Wildcats a 20-10 lead. Sherman cut the deficit to 20-17 with a touchdown and then recovered an onside kick. An attempt at a tying field goal went wide left. The Wildcats also got a first quarter TD as Humphries threw a long pass to Bubba Hall. The Wildcats, now 1-1, host Whitehouse next Friday for Homecoming.
