Ruby Jean Shoffner

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Jean Shoffner will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Winterfield Baptist Church, Pickton, Texas. Visitation is Tuesday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Burial will be in the Winterfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Shoffner passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the age of 73. She was born on December 6, 1941, to the late Ollie A. Hart and Velma Maddox Hart. She was self-employed as a daycare provide.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, O.V. “Skip” Shoffner; one brother, four sisters, and one grandchild, Jeremy Dooley.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas Sewell and wife Dora of Royse City; Philip Shoffner and wife Dane of Trophy Club; daughter, Carolyn Sewell Robinson of Mesquite; sisters, Grace Plemons and Mozell Dean, both of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
