The fountain at Celebration Plaza will be open Saturday for the weekend according to City Manager Marc Maxwell. Work is underway for a stop-gap fix that will allow the fountain to be open for Saturday fun but not for the whole weekend. There are still parts on order for a complete repair.
One of the issues is the self-chlorination. That will have to be done by workers Saturday. Parts are expected to arrive Monday. Maxwell hopes to have the fountain up in a couple of weeks.
