The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in effect until 4 a.m.Sunday for 28 counties in North Central Texas, 8 counties in Northeast Texas, and two counties in South Central Texas. This watch includes Hopkins, Delta, Lamar, Rains, Hunt, and Van Zandt.
A flash flood watch continues for the area until Sunday midnight. A river flood warning for the South Sulphur River area also continues. Minor flooding is expected early Sunday morning.
