Graveside services for Carrie Dale Allen Ransom, age 96 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Restlawn Memorial Park. There will be no formal visitation.
Carrie passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab.
He was born on September 11, 1918, the daughter of James and Jo Willy (Wofford) Thomas in Bailey, TX. She was retired from retail sales and was a member of the League Street Church of Christ.
She married T.C. Ransom in 1961 in Greenville. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors include daughter, Paula Rorie of Sulphur Springs; sons, Tom Ransom of Yantis and Jim Bicknell of Sulphur Springs; granddaughters, Suzanne Allen and J.J. Rorie; great-granddaughters, Lynnzie Allen and Megan Allen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, John Bicknell and Olan Ransom; brothers, W.J. Allen, H.Z. Allen, Dalton Allen and Elmer Allen and sister, Inez Gentry.
