Lady Cats Pound Greenville 17-1

The Lady Cats’ softball team pounded Greenville, 17-1 Tuesday to improve their district record to 4-0.  The Lady Cats are now 10-2 for the season.  They are tied for first with Hallsville.

Coach David Carillo said the Lady’s hit the ball very well and put the ball in play with 18 hits. The Lady Cats didn’t face Greenville’s  best pitcher according to Carillo.

Next for the Lady Cats is a make up game with Mt. Pleasant coming up Thursday at 6 p.m. at home.  The Lady Tigers have opened the season with a fine 3-1 record.  The Lady Cats also have a big game at Hallsville Friday night.
