Tira News By Jan Vaughn 01/30/2015

Danny and Judy Rawson visited Mary Rawson, Danny’s mother, last Wednesday night.

Sherry Smiddy reports, “The Cross Spur Cowboy Church will have the annual Sweets for your Sweetie Auction on February 8th. There will be lots of goodies auctioned off that morning at 10:30 a.m. The money raised will help fund the youth activities for the year. Please mark this on your calendar to attend.”

Sheila Boyd shared, “Sunday night my boys cooked supper for us. Colton and Kat and Wesley and Terri made stuffed hamburgers. They were awesome with bacon, feta cheese and onions. I feel very blessed. It is so wonderful to have the boys at a point in their lives that they are happy and able to provide for themselves. What else could I ask for as a parent? My New Year’s resolution is to enjoy the little blessings in life.”

Chip and I started the new year off with a visit to see Larry and Dorothy Fitzgerald in Somerville. We enjoyed visiting, eating, and attending church with them. Chip and Larry enjoyed beating Dorothy and me at cards, but we know that they just had all the luck!

It must have been another quiet week in Tira. I hope to have more news to report next week.
