OK Ladies.. I say this EVERY YEAR.. Step out of your “Comfort Zones” and do something
fun and rewarding for yourself.
The 6th Annual Ms Hopkins County Senior Classic Pageant will be held on Saturday, June 6th at Sulphur Springs Church of the Nazarene.
All ladies 60 years of age and older are eligible to participate in the pageant.
This is NOT a Beauty Pageant. It is a Pageant that lets the world know that Seniors are
still active.
There is NO SWIMSUIT Competition for you to worry about.
You just need to wear a nice dress (it doesn’t even have to be FORMAL) a church dress will be
fine.
You will need to have a Talent of some sort. It could be reading a poem, lip syncing a song,
doing a little dance, singing, acting out something, showing your art work or doing a funny
speech. Anything you can think of will be just fine.
You will be asked to write a 50 word “Philosophy of Life”. This isn’t hard. It just tells us
what you think and what makes you tick. I have samples for you to look over if you
are interested.
During the contest there is an Interview portion. This is just pulling a question from a fish bowl and giving a short answer. These questions are ones that I have made up and are not hard.
They are just questions about your life and family.
I hope you ladies will think about participating in this. It takes about 8 ladies to make
a good pageant. Even if you have participated in the past you are more than welcome
to participate again.

We have a wonderful sponsor every year, Visiting Angels, that pick up the cost of the pageant and therefore I do not have to charge anything.
