Paul Joseph Gaskell

Paul Joseph Gaskell, age 87, of Sulphur Springs passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs with Rev. Pete Adrian officiating, and serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cody Jones, Frank Rao, Adam Lindsay, Trip Wyse, Terry Jones, Dylan Jones, David Berry, Andy Berry, Scott Berry, Lloyd Moseley, Douglas Webb, George Reese, Bill Lindsay and the Messenger Sunday School class.

Paul was born on June 19, 1927 in Dallas TX to Roy Lee and Charlie M. Jones Gaskell. Paul married Nancy M. Berry in Dallas TX on January 29, 1952, and in their 62 years of marriage shared many adventures and memories together. Paul attended Texas A&M, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served his country during World War II as well as was a retired Dallas Fire Fighter and Rescue, a Real Estate Broker, Custom Home Builder and a volunteer for the Genesis Women’s Shelter.

Paul is survived by his wife Nancy Gaskell of Sulphur Springs TX. Three daughters; Leslie McCullough and husband Terry of Sulphur Springs TX., Janice Williams and husband Bruce of Keller TX., and Alison Mueller of Conroe TX., a grandson, Brandon Williams and wife Elizabeth of Ft. Worth TX and three great grandchildren, Kaid Williams, Tiegan Williams, and Kinsley Williams. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Elizabeth Moseley and three brothers –in –laws, Don Webb, Frank Rao, and Wiley Berry and wife Challie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Charlie Gaskell. Two brothers: Roy and Jack Gaskell, a brother-in-law Lloyd Moseley, and a sister-in-law Jane Webb.

Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Paul’s Name.
