Updated: Christmas in the Park This Saturday and Dec. 5th

The Hopkins County Historical Society promises to take you back to a simpler time for a few hours during Christmas in the Park. The first Christmas event comes up on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Heritage Park at 416 North Jackson. It’s also planned for Friday, December 5. There will be lights everywhere, carolers, musicians, a live nativity scene, a Christmas tree, Santa Claus, historic buildings to visit and lots to eat and drink. Admission is $5.

Here are just some of the things to enjoy at Christmas in the Park at Heritage Park Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Santa Claus, hot drinks, snacks, lights galore, historic buildings, musicians, singers, fireplaces, a blacksmith, general store, low admission costs and lots of photo ops. Christmas in the Park will also take place on Friday, December 5 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
