Dare to Dream Rally at the SSISD

The fifth-graders at Douglas Intermediate School continue to learn about being leaders in the Dare to Dream program. It began as a summer camp and continues with reinforcement of a soft skill each month. At a pep rally Wednesday morning, the topic was listening. High school students, who are acting as mentors, and church youth leaders, are also a part of the program. School district Character Curriculum Coordinator Jeff Harris interviewed High School Student Body President Payton Howard on the importance of listening and then some Douglasā€™ students answered questions about the interview.
