Johnny M. Brandenburgh, Jr.

Johnny M. Brandenburgh, Jr. passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the age of 48. He was a resident of Corpus Christi TX. Johnny never met a stranger, was always kind to others and accepted everyone regardless of their differences.

He was born to Johnny M. Brandenburgh and JoAnn Mosher Brandenburgh on April 6, 1966 in Sulpher Springs, TX. His deep and abiding faith carried him through many health challenges over his lifetime. Johnny never let those hold him back and was an amazing example to us that it is not the number of years we have here but the life we live in those years that matter. Johnny loved and served his community and church in all ways possible. He was known in his hometown as Mr. Halloween and spent many hours bringing smiles and happiness to others.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents Thomas Brandenburgh and Bessie Ishmael Brandenburgh and Joseph Mosher and Carrie Hill Mosher. He is survived by his stepfather Roger Moser; brother Kenneth Brandenburgh; sister Sheila Huber and brother in law John Huber; and sister Shannan Brandenburgh; along with a much loved extended family.

His family wishes to express their gratitude to the many friends and physicians that have supported and worked with Johnny over the years to accomplish great things. Special thanks are also extended to John Campbell.

A memorial service and celebration of Johnny’s life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Waldron Road Baptist Church, 2042 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78418. He will be laid to rest at the Old Tarrant Cemetery outside of Sulpher Springs, TX. In memory of Johnny, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
