Miranda Rushin of North Hopkins was named the 2014-2015 Fall Festival Cover Girl Saturday night. She also had top ticket sales. Miranda edged out first runner up Morgan Mayers of Sulphur Springs, also recognized for best parade float. Shelbie Lackey of Cumby won best decorated window, the hustle award and was named Miss Congeniality. Outgoing Cover Girl is Sarah Weatheread of North Hopkins.
New Cover Girl Miranda Rushin of North Hopkins said she didn’t expect to win Saturday night. She figured either Morgan Mayers of Sulphur Springs or Shelbie Lackey of Cumby would win. Miranda said she was excited when they called her name. She said she looked forward to representing Fall Festival at ribbon cuttings and other events.
