County Jail Passes Annual Inspection

The Hopkins County Jail passed its’ annual inspection from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards Wednesday. Sheriff Butch Adams said there was one area, involving giving inmates time in their exercise yard every week, that the inspector gave the jail a passing grade on but said he wanted to revisit it in 60 days. Sheriff Adams said the inspector spent just about all day going over all aspects of the jail
