“Updated” United Way 100 % Club for October 7, 2014

Chris Voorheese, the Hopkins County United Way Campaign Chairman for the second straight year, explained how United Way works on KSST’s Good Morning Show with Enola Gay Wednesday morning. Voorheese was joined by AgriLife Extension Agent Johanna Hicks who helps supervise Hopkins County 4H, one of 17 county groups that benefit from United Way funds. This year’s goal is $160,000. Voorheese stressed that 99% of funds raised stay in Hopkins County. He said this year’s slogan is Giving to Bless Others. Voorheese encouraged everyone to support United Way and its’ mission.
