Hay Show Sale

This year’s Hopkins County Hay Champion is Marilyn Smith. Her hay received the highest hay score at the 2014 Hopkins County Hay Show. Ms. Smith’s hay was purchased by Alliance Bank for $1,000. G&L Hay Farm grabbed second and third place. City National Bank bought the second place hay for $1,000. Texas Heritage Bank purchased the third place hay for $700. Other winners were 4th and 5th place Tom Glossup, sixth place Max Palmer, seventh place Gerald Walters, 8th place Tommy Long, ninth place Dough McCool and tenth place Sheri Walters. All hay samples were tested for quality.
