Hopkins County Memorial Hospital CEO Michael McAndrew has written a letter to set the record straight concerning the current condition of the hospital. He is encouraging media members to make use of it. The letter says rumors about the hospital closing or facing bankruptcy are false. McAndrew says the hospital has taken steps to retain cash to meet bond obligations. McAndrew has also met with hospital employees to inform them so they can better answer public concerns.
