United Way Kick Off Luncheon

The Hopkins County United Way launched their fall campaign with a Workers Luncheon Wednesday at noon at the Southwest Dairy Museum. Campaign Chairman Chris Voorheese, a sports fan, referred to the new campaign as a brand new season after a very successful season last year. The goal this year is $160,000. Both Voorheese and keynote speaker Pastor Joel Tiemeyer referred to the goal as a minimum. The Reverend Tiemeyer urged workers to never give up citing Abraham Lincoln
