The Lady Cats’ volleyball team won all three matches they played Thursday in a Mt. Vernon tournament. The Lady Cats downed Daingerfield, 2-0, New Boston 2-1 and Arkansas High, 2-0. The Lady Cats are now 10-9 for the season. They’ll play in the championship bracket of the tournament Saturday.
The Lady Cats’ volleyball team has a final non-district match at home Tuesday before opening district play on the road Friday afternoon. The Lady Cats host always tough Royse City in a non-district match Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Then the Lady Cats open district play at Marshall against the Lady Mavs on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
