The Lady Cats’ volleyball team won a second set to tie their match with Mt. Vernon, 1-1 last Thursday night at home. Coach Allison Irvin said it was the kind of close set the team had been losing so far this year. The confidence-building win led the Lady Cats to take a dominant win in set three and then to rally in set four to wrap up the match, 3-1. The Lady Cats, now 7-8, travel to Paris next Tuesday.
