Hawks 33 – Wildcats 21

wildcatlogoThe Wildcats’ football team stayed close to highly ranked Rockwall-Heath for three quarters Friday night before the Hawks finally seemed to wear the Wildcats down at the end. The Hawks scored twice in the fourth quarter to take a 33-21 win at home. The Hawks were able to stymie the Wildcats passing attack but the Wildcats were able to run the ball well. Back Tyler Rosamond ran for two touchdowns and quarterback Larry Pryor found the end zone after a thrilling 39 yard run. Meanwhile the Wildcats defense had a hard time bottling up Hawks senior quarterback Jordan Hoy and senior running back Rico Henderson. Hoy threw for two touchdowns and ran for another while Henderson scored twice. The 0-1 Wildcats have their home opener next Friday at Prim Stadium as Sherman comes to town.
