City Water Level Looking Better

maxwellAfter every rain, Sulphur Springs City Manager Marc Maxwell checks the water level at Cooper Lake. As of Tuesday morning, Cooper Lake’s level was marginally better than it was at this time last year by two feet. Still the city is in great shape for water. At Cooper Lake, the city only uses about a third of its’ water account in any year. Maxwell is still hoping to sell some Cooper Lake water to Metroplex interests if inter basin transfer issues can be overcome.
