Memorial service for Tony Maurice Highfield, 65, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete Adrian officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Tony passed away Monday, July 21st, at Harris Methodist hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born July 11, 1949 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Elwood and Merle Highfield. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1969 and Texas A&M University in 1971. He was a Certified Real Estate Appraiser in Fort Worth for many years. In addition to his mother Merle, he is survived by his wife Marcia, his son Wesley Highfield, his wife Linda, and their children Jacob and Caitlin of Pearland, Texas; daughter Haley Holliday, her husband Seth, and their son Holden of Las Vegas, Nevada; and niece Amy Highfield of Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father and younger brothers David and Steve.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
