Willie “Bill” Ernest Davis, 82, of Emory, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at his home. Bill was born in Wisner, LA on April 10, 1932, to Ernest Ralph and Mary Letha Williams Davis. He married Mary Janice Hamilton on March 1, 1992 in Tool. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War time. He was survived by his wife: Jan Davis of Emory; son: Darrell Davis of TN, daughters: Debra Coggins of Pleasantview, TN and Donna Olson of Grandby, CO; step-sons: David Mason, and wife, Juanita of Reklaw, and Ricky Mason, and wife, Beth, of Cross Roads; brother: Paul Ray Davis; sisters: Luney Beach, Mary Yarborough and Bobbie Vaughn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of other loving friends and family. Preceded by: parents, 2 brothers: Ralph Edward Davis, and Thomas Davis; 2 sisters: Betty Mooneyham and Nelda Nielsen.
