Southwest Dairy Museum Offers Summer Cooking Class for Children

The Southwest Dairy Museum offers children a one-week cooking class during the summer. Instructor Samantha Link, also manager of the creamery, says class is in session Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. This week pancakes were prepared Monday, pizza Wednesday and double layer chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on Friday. The class is offered for only seven weeks and there is quite a waiting list of children who are interested. Rebecca visiting family from Oklahoma and Sarah of Dike say the class is lots of fun.
